Painting deliveries within Australia can be sent as a stretched canvas or rolled in a cylinder ready for framing. All overseas postage will be rolled in cylinders for better protection of the canvas. A little about me

Painting is my passion, originally exclusively with Acrylics but now including Oils. Now most of my time is spent either painting or searching for that perfect image to use as a reference for the next creation. Striving for realistic works I will paint all subject matter unlike many artists, in an attempt to deliver a true to life experience to the viewer. From seascapes or still life to landscapes or nature, the endless variety of subjects keeps me captive in my quest to deliver a story telling canvas. Acrylics I love as I like to work quickly and can achieve many different effects through glazing and scrubbing colour over colour. Not having to wait allows the speed and freedom to finish, sometimes in one sitting. Oils I have become to love for the pure rich colours and textures, giving a body and depth not available with acrylics. Oils allow time to impart more detail and realism and have taught me patience with no need to rush for the finished work. I am still learning and will continue to learn until I can no longer paint. With over fifty years experience as a Signwriter/Scenic Artist including twenty plus years managing my own business and the last 14 years of my working life as the in-house Scenic Artist for Warner Bros. Movie World on Australia's Gold Coast, I have worked with many extremely talented artists and have learned from working with and observing their techniques. In 2016 I moved to beautiful Yamba on the north coast of New South Wales for my retirement and now enjoy my painting, golf and an occasional day on the Clarence river in my boat fishing. I am always available for commissions in either medium painted at a very competetive price and will post any where in the world.
